a podcast search engine… no, really…

No, not a search engine of available podcasts, but a true search engine which, like Google, has indexed all the actual content of podcasts.
Sounds a little far fetched perhaps, but TVEyes, a real time broadcast search provider who has been doing this for TV and radio broadcasts since 1999, will release Podscope later this month.
Podscope will crawl the web in search of podcasts and create an index of every word within the content. Users of Podscope will be able to search for keywords on the ranked results. That’s going to force the search engine optimisation bods out there to learn something new!
