audacious takes its first steps

An interesting project I am involved in is to smash the traditional stuck in the dark-ages attitude of PR and slap it in the face with the bleeding edge of new media communication.

Oh yes.

In the world of PR - not my personal expertise - this is a daring concept. Focusing purely on blogging, podcasting and vcasting as a means of internal communication in particular - though not to the exclusion of company or product marketing and promotion - audacious hopes to strengthen the validity of such tools as a viable means of corporate communication.

Initial responses to the idea are certainly positive and audacious has already produced pilot podcasts for a large UK telephony company. It is difficult to know what the future holds for such a concept, but it certainly is exciting stuff.

I’ve not yet installed the V2 update so cannot say it’s all funky (good funky that is). I’ll report back once I’ve done it later this week.
