Drupal 4.7 finally emerges

In perfect timing to complete the birthing of the Dennis Publishing intranet (read: internal communications based around a social media model) project, the development team have finally released Drupal 4.7.
When starting the intranet solution I had hoped I might have applied some of the work fixing issues and developing new modules back into the project - I did get CVS access after all - but some changes in the spec for the intranet’s launch refocused my attention to project-specific elements not ones I could feed back into the Drupal project. Future developments in the intranet, particularly now that we have begun spec for their corporate website (not a Drupal project but will require integration of some data), may lead me to develop some more generic elements and feed back into the Drupal community.
Good to see 4.7 finally out there.
