Google pagerank update 27 September 2008

Page Rank is, of course, irrelevant to your actual SERPs ranking, but is an indicator of the general health of your site (if your rank is increasing) or ill-health (if it is decreasing). Exact details on how Page Rank is calculated remains a secret that Google keeps close to its chest, but it is certainly related to the number of links pointed at a website, and the quality (influence) of those links. Worth keeping an eye on as an indicator that your site is gaining strength.
