I’m not listening to myself again

What are those words in my header pic?
That’s right: more substance, less noise. So isn’t it about time I got the “less noise” part sorted in relation to this blog? Of course it is - well overdue in fact. So expect a significant slice of de-clutter around these ‘ere parts. I am also looking at creating “sub blogs” which are more focused on my individual areas of interest, subdomains of the main site so that you, discerning reader, can filter out all the stuff you are not interested in and get more value from what appears here. Making this happen in the background is going to be a challenge, but I have been thinking about it for quite some time now. The likely solution is an installation of Wordpress multi-user (which is a branch of the main wordpress code base with added stuff to run multiple blogs either under the same domain or subdomains). The posts to the various sections will then be aggregated here - as brief summaries - so everything works together beautifully.
Now then, a bucket-load of free time, please, so I can get this done.

Good luck with the multi-user concept, I’ll be in a situation like this soon so I’ll be following you with interest on it.
I do have a Drupal install already, which does this by default, though more complex, but so far I’ve been very impressed with it.
