    Good job Neil!
We kicked back and listened to your podcast over a glass of Shiraz and agree that your effort is above many in listenability (except the Rooster track… which was just a bad song. Not your fault and it was freely licensed…)- it comes across like a little radio show, which is, honestly, much easier to listen to than the ill prepared podcasts we’ve heard.

    Keep it up!
    We’ll tune in again!

    Hi Neil,

Thoroughly enjoyed your show Listened to your show in bed this morning on my laptop with my wife; Sue. Sue is not at all interested in podcasting and often moans about the time I spend on it (like now for instance: she’s cooking her own breakfast on mother’s day and complaining I’m listening to stuff while she does it herself….women..honestly).

Id really like to learn more about the clubs you compare, enjoyed the chat and music a great deal.

Good work mate, keep it up.

    Paul

    Hi Neil

Paul Nicholls ( I see he’s already left his mark above…) nudged me delightfully your way. What a great listen - I confess I skipped the music as I am sure people do with my show. I really didn’t believe it was three in afternoon - its was closer to midnight - but we all live in different time zones and hemispheres even within the same country, don’t we?

Its great to hear another British cohearent podcast (how I hate that term!) - I think I get far more ‘erms’ in than any one in the globe in my radio show - but its part of the ‘as live ‘ studio feel I try and give the show - too much polish sounds contrived don’t you think?

Can we havbe a traffic report next week please?

Couple of points - podcasting, yes definitely a future. Why? Because you have just done one? Paul has done a bunch and many others are kicking off with them - and two years ago they weren’t doing that. But, as with all aspects of entertainment industry, content is king! Whether that be good or bad.

I don’t believe we do this for free. Our reward, payment or whatever you wish to call it is the feedback. Without it, what are we doing> Recording audio for our next of kin to have a laugh at or for our old age trips down memory lane.

At the moment there are no rules and no definitions as to the proper podcast - and thank godness! Its about style and likability.

You sound like you have something worthy to say and appear approachable. So you have me hooked.

My show is drivel - in a light entertainment way - nothing really important to say, but does Bruce Foresyth? Yet we love to be entertained.

Room for us all! Keep up the good work. Welcome to the world of podcastng - not that you need a welcome from me , I am sure.

Thanks for the positive comments, guys!

Jen: hurry up and get back here, will you… I need my breakfast making.

Paul: Thanks matey. You seem to have the ‘little woman; sorted ;) What’s your secret? I do hope she cooked you some breakfast while she was at it, I mean, killing two birds with one stone and all that.
I’ll be reporting back on the comedy clubs a bit more in posts here and in future podcasts, so tun in.

Richard: Thanks for the feedback. I agree, the motivation is, and has to be for the most part, reaching an audience - we all have better things to do alone in front of a computer than record audio programs…;)
I’ll check out your podcast today.
(My spelling is great, I just tpye poorly) Hee hee …

uh-huh… and who brought me breakfast in bed? ;) Adore me, Welshman, adore me…

Looks like your little podlet has generated some feedback. I’m catching up on it now. I look forward to checking out those who are clearly checking out you- I’ve got some time booked with my headphones this afternoon.

    smooches from the proudly ‘un-sorted’ ;) ~
