The discovery that Google Maps have now added some high resolution satellite images of London means a lot more time wasting… but of course, it’s worth it. Here are some interesting locations:
The London Eye
British Museum
Battersea Power Station
Canary Wharf
Millennium Waste (sorry, Dome)
Thames Barrier
BBC TV Centre, Wood Lane
Wimbledon
Wembley Statium - the one that’s not there any more!
They’ve also added a chunk of high res imagery in the middle nowhere around Uckfield (just south east of East Grinstead), maybe an important member of the imaging dept lives there.
