It’s going to be a little less peaceful in the Dixon household… watch out guy downstairs getting drunk and playing Alanis Morissette on 11 for 1′42″ every couple of months.
It’s been a while since I’ve had the energy to make music, but it’s growing once more now that life and work are settling down and a little more under control at last. Reason 3.0 is on the way - I’ve been using Reason for a few years off and on and it’s a superb piece of kit, running beautifully on my powerbook - enough to get some serious stuff done at least. New toys through the post are always great!
[update:] It got here and I’ve been playing. The update to Version 3.0 is well worth it - particularly in the slightly snappier interface and the new refill/patch browser. New goodies such as the mastering suite add a real punch to tracks and the integration with external keyboards and control surfaces is impressive.

A few hours spent last night re-familiarising myself with V2.5. No, I’m not posting that up, it’s crap, but it was fun. I just love conecting the virtual cables around the back.

I use reason with Rewire on many projects. What i really like about Reason 3 is the Combinator…
