PodcastCon UK’s date has been set at Saturday, September 17th. The location is London, but the precise venue has yet to be arranged.
Likely to be a more of an informal social gathering than a ‘proper’ convention, it is hoped that it might help raise the national and global profile of UK podcasters. It’s certainly likely to draw some global attention with most of the UK padcasters attracting a broad US listener base (it’s the accents, you know, take my word for it). A big cheer for Podcast Paul for getting things off the ground so far.
Accents, schmaccents… What would you know on that?
(American girl winks knowingly at the Welshman…)
So will the PodcastCon UK be open to the listeners as well as the producers? Maybe I’ll have my own podcast going by then, but I’d like to attend the event either way.
Thanks for the head’s up!

I am writing this from the great celestial cybercafe in the sky.
Thanks for the mention on your latest podcast. While on holiday I was sadly crushed by a speeding bull in a small Spanish town.
Best wishes
