SEO software with a massive discount

This is a superb idea from the SEO Software Link-Assistant. SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) helps your visibility on search engines for your niche keywords. One important factor in achieving this is generating incoming links from sites which Google considers important and relevant. This relevancy is marked by Google as Page Rank (PR), the higher your page rank - maximum is 10 - the more ‘punch’ your website has in Google’s eyes.

One very important element in boosting your page rank is incoming links from high page rank websites, and outgoing links to high page rank websites. That is a rather simplistic view, but the principle is that if a high ranking, relevant site is linking to you, then that site respects your content - that’s a good thing in Google’s eyes.

SEO Software is rarely cheap, but Link Assistant have a superb way of giving you a potentially massive discount on their link building tool, while generating high page rank incoming links for themselves - something which has value to them. All you need to do is place a permanent link on a site with a minimum page rank of at least 4 - has to be permanent of course, or Link Assitant will stop working for you, that’s fair enough. The higher your page rank, the bigger the discount you get on the software, and you can combine links from more than one site for a cumulative discount. So, I placed a link here (PR5) and Jen was kind enough to place one on her blog too (PR5), which gave me a 70% discount on the software. BritCaster.com has a PR6 right now, tempting, but I am determined to keep that site commercial-free, even for simple text links.

I love the concept of deals such as this where it is not simply a matter of the seller shifting more units and the buyer getting a discount. In this case, both the buyer and seller work together to provide a clear advantage to the other party.
