TableRappers makes The Stage
The Stage, the print and online magazine covering every aspect of the arts and entertainment industry, chose to highlight Table Rappers – Persistent Spirit within their Turn off the TV special: Pick of the podcasts article.
Ewan Spence, podcaster extraordinaire and producer/presenter of – amongst others – the annual Edinburgh Fringe Podcast (sponsored for the past two three years by The Stage), submitted the podcast suggestions. I was delighted to learn that Persistent Spirit made the cut and receive a prominent and very complimentary mention:
Table Rappers – Persistent Spirit is the first in a planned series of audio books, which author Neil Dixon brings to life through a reading of the text. But it’s far from an author in search of a microphone, as Dixon uses the serial nature of podcasts coupled with an atmospheric sound mix to bring his characters to life.
