Just a few short hours after the planned release, TableRappers : Persistent Spirit Prelude episode is available!
This episode took much more work to produce than will future episodes. So much of what went into this first one consisted of originating a number of re-usable elements such as opening and closing themes, and some incidental background music.
I also learned a great deal about how to do this - and how not to do it! Though I still have a learning curve to climb for future episodes, this is an important and significant step in the development of the project, and provides a good solid foothold for the future.

I have to say, it is with some trepidation that I release this into the big bad virtual world. This is the first time these characters and situations have been let out beyond the boundaries of a very select few. The prelude episode introduces you to very few of the entire cast, but I do hope that you will come to enjoy spending time in their company and their world as much as I have.
The road ahead
With this prelude episode out of the way, it is time to knuckle down and complete the text for the next few episodes. Throughout December, that will be my primary writing focus. Plans are to spend time over the Christmas holiday recording at least another six episodes, hopefully ten. This gives me a head start and makes it a great deal more likely that I will be able to post a chapter each week. By January, I should have the writing/recording/producing work-flow down to a tee.
I am not sure exactly how many episodes will complete the story. The audiobook episode breakdown is slightly different to the written book chapter structure. This is necessary because the audiobook episodes each need to be approximately the same length, whereas the written chapters can and will vary enormously.
Whatever the final number, I invite you to come along for the ride.
