Last month, however, just after the official 30 days’ payment had passed, I popped a pleasant letter in the post asking for the account to be brought up to date…. Despite the core application being free (open source), a significant amount of time has been spent re-engineering, tweaking and downright hacking Drupal to make it behave the way the client wants it – even then a few compromises have had to be made.The same client has now asked me to develop their external corporate website to run atop a content management system (CMS)…. The layout compromises – or the vast amount of hacking to work around them – now pointed to a bespoke solution.Open source solutions are fine for targeted niche CMS, such as Wordpress for blogs or Drupal for community based sites, but when you need to create a corporate website with a no-compromise user interface and specific operational behaviour in the back end, open source rarely fits the bill.The problem with much open source, in the CMS space, is that it generally falls into one of two categories:1.

When you first use the headset, pairing with a phone is accomplished by holding down the power button for five seconds and waiting for the phone and headset to communicate…. wherever that disappeared to.It was only tonight I discovered this after much Googling for a reason why the headset refused to pair with the new phone.
