The idea behind Table Rappers originally developed as a television screenplay sometime around 2002.
At that time, the characters and their world were developed, a television series ‘bible’ created, and second draft screenplays for the first two episodes written.
It is difficult enough for established and experienced writers to break their ideas into production, so after several years of collecting rejection slips and some programmes in a similar genre appearing on both main UK TV channels, I decided to mothball the project for a little while.
