Many bloggers have experienced their content being legitimately syndicated onto other sites and permit it to happen as part of their promotion. But many have also experienced the scrapers: sites that illegally duplicate entire blog contents, replicating new and old posts in order to populate their sites with content. A Wordpres plugin helps us fight back.

Wordpress development seems to be progressing at an increasing rate these days. I still have not got around to upgrading this blog to version 2.5 yet and talk of version 2.6 is spreading.

This plugin makes it easy to embed mevio.com Music Player widgets into your WordPress blog posts.
This is version 1.1 release. Currently it has only been tested on Wordpress 2.5, please report any issues with any other versions. This should still work without a problem on WP 2.3.3+.

I really shouldn’t play with plug-ins quite as much!
Right now, RSS feed from this blog are not pushing out full-post content. Hmm… the fix of switching off a plug-in that was messing with the RSS has not solved it, so more investigation needed. Apologies for the hiccup, normal RSS service will be resumed very soon.
