Übercaster kicks even more butt!

With Übercaster, the Mac based podcast production tool, now in the latter stages before version 1 release, the last thing I was expecting was a significantly useful tool to arrive with the latest update:

The new driver now provides a “feedback channel”, i.e. the person you’re chatting with will not only hear you but also all other sounds you’re playing in Übercaster

If you’re not a podcaster, you will likely not be aware how much of a pain in the rear this can be to set up without multiple computers or clunky audio redirection system plugins. Übercaster already had the edge in my opinion, but this streaks it ahead of any other podcast production tool available because it opens up a whole world of new opportunities without the pain. Yes there are still a handful of glitches and quirks to be ironed out, but it’s still beta.

I might just get me a Mac Mini soon…. still to be convinced. ;-)

you can achieve the same thing if you have an audio breakout box with enough inputs / outputs and a pro sequencer. but you’re right, this is a great win for Übercaster.
