Wordpress 2.6 with post revisions

commentrelish.jpg

Wordpress development seems to be progressing at an increasing rate these days. I still have not got around to upgrading this blog to version 2.5 yet and talk of version 2.6 is spreading.

One interesting feature which suggests a more serious attitude to content management, and which may lift Wordpress out from merely a blogging platform, is article revision history.

According to this post, Wordpress 2.6 will store saved revisions to an article (post) as they are made, and allow the reversion to previous states of the article. This makes managing developing content within Wordpress significantly more sophisticated. I hope some usability changes are also made to managing lists of posts as right now they consist of little more than filtered lists of stuff.
