Another installment in a series of posts covering my most loved and used Wordpress plugins.

Blogging is about community and communication, something which is reflected by the state of a blog’s comments. You want new commenters, but you also want them to come back. One of the best ways to do this is to make a newcomer feel appreciated that they took the time to leave their comment.
Comment Relish automates the love and appreciation to your new commenter by sending a fully customisable thank you message to anyone who comments on your blog for the first time. Just imagine how it feels, you have just commented on a blog, then a few minutes later a message pops into your email thanking you for your time. ‘Thank you’ is a very powerful relationship building phrase.
The comment’s home page is here.
You can download it directly from the author’s website here.
I will give this a run over at db4dawn.
It may be better than nothing, but if it’s automated I would think it lacks a bit of feeling. It’s just bacn really, isn’t it?
I wouldn’t say it was better than nothing, it’s a tool to aid in communication. It’s a fully customisable, personalised message, so only lacks feeling if the site owner can’t manage to assemble a decent welcome/thank you message.
Thanks. I have seen a heap of bloggers using this, and was wondering what it was called!
Thanks I have been wanting to know what this was called lol.
